The Grand Rapids Downtown Market will host Food A'Faire: An Edible Evening, benefiting the Education Foundation, on Thursday, October 16, from 6 – 9 p.m. The evening will feature local libations, including a cocktail hour celebrating hand-crafted Michigan-made beer, spirits, wine, and mixers; Downtown Market tastes and food pairings; a silent auction featuring Michigan experiences; and whimsical entertainment. ArtPrize 2014 features more than eighteen hundred artists, whose work will be on display at 174 venues, including banks, breweries, coffee shops, pedestrian bridges, salons, churches, and even construction sites.
