Being a native of Grand Rapids, born and raised, it is almost unheard of (or so I found out) that I had never been to a West Michigan Whitecaps baseball game. Now, I know why people were so surprised!

New to the RedWater Restaurant Group and to Watermark at Cascade is Cork, among the dining and event spaces to now comprise Watermark’s entire main floor. Cork’s thoughtful design and open feel enhance a lively lounge and contemporary dining scene. Cork offers more than one hundred seats inside, and open and covered spaces with fire pits—and views of Watermark’s golf course—outside. A three-sided fireplace is a focal point of the indoor dining room.

Does the thought of walking onto a lush green golf course, swinging your club, and missing the ball make you think “golf” is a rather objectionable four-letter word? Perhaps. But ponder the professional advantages: Do you want to play with the big boys (and girls)? Do you want to have fun and be part of the company outing, even if you aren’t a golfer?
