Jennifer Jurgens beat breast cancer by getting a test her mother didn't get in time. Her mom died of breast cancer at age 36, when Jurgens was just 12.

On Saturday, April 20, a diverse lineup of thirteen bands will perform live in thirteen different restaurants, pubs, and other establishments throughout downtown Holland, as part of the spring GrooveWalk event. By purchasing a single wristband for just $15, patrons could see all of the bands performing at the participating venues, from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.

Seventeen area businesses and individuals will be vying for six awards at the fourth annual EPIC Awards, an event hosted by the Grand Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce.
