Bidding adieu to the fleeting summer can be tough for those living in West Michigan. If you're feeling blue, a visit to the Ottawa County Parks will have you bewitched by autumn! Park naturalists have lined up a series of strolls throughout some of the most captivating county parks, where you can witness the seasonal changes along the trails.
“Each day brings new discoveries signs of fall,” said Kristin Hintz, coordinator of interpretive services. Seasonal Strolls are offered every other Thursday morning. These guided walks will engage your senses through the sights, sounds, and smells of autumn, as well as late summer observations of plants and animals. There's no need to register, and the walks are free.
