I am divorced. It’s not easy to say out loud or put it in writing. However, as of January 23, 2013, I became a divorced single mother. How I got there was a culmination of years of unhappiness and unhealthy choices for both of us. You may have found yourself in the same place, or wondering if you should make a choice similar to mine.

Social media has resulted in some of the most used sites on the Internet by young and older people. And no matter which industry you work for, the best way to stay on top of your game and attract the most attention to your program, service, or destination is to become an active member on social sites like Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Instagram, for starters. 

Sometimes, I need more hours in a day. Sometimes, I need those hours to get more done; other times, I need them to rebound from a hectic travel schedule. 

It's that time of year again! The weather is getting cooler, the girls are getting back into their school routine, and Sunday afternoons are filled with football! In case you need reminding, I am the only male living in my house—and, coincidently, the only one whose mood is contingent on how the Bears are playing. My girls are now resigned to the fact that they lose me one afternoon a week until February rolls around. To them, Super Bowl Sunday brings a whole new view on excitement. The year-end football party marks the beginning of Sunday afternoon attention from their dad, and grandpa, and uncle, too!
