Welcome the colors of autumn at the Ottawa County Parks properties with a guided hike. Park naturalists have lined up a series of hikes throughout some of the most captivating county parks, where you can witness the seasonal changes along the trails.
"These hike engage senses through the sights, sounds, and smells of autumn," commented Kristin Hintz, Coordinator of Interpretive Services. The free guided hikes are offered on Wednesdays into November, and no registration is required.

October 22, 10 – 11:30 a.m. – Connor Bayou – Autumn Hike
October 29, 10 – 11:30 a.m. – Pigeon Creek – Autumn Hike
November 1, 9 – 10:30 a.m. – Hemlock Crossing – Bird Hike
November 5, 9 – 10:30 a.m. – Hemlock Crossing – Bird Hike
November 12, 10 – 11:30 a.m. – Riverside Park – Autumn Hike
Directions and Addresses:
Connor Bayou: (12945 North Cedar Drive, Grand Haven) From M-45, travel north on 128th to North Cedar Drive. Turn left on North Cedar (gravel portion) to the entrance.
Hemlock Crossing: (8115 West Olive Road, West Olive) From US 31, travel west on Croswell to West Olive Road. Travel south on West Olive Road along the train tracks to the entrance.
Pigeon Creek: (12524 Stanton Street, West Olive) From US-31, travel east on Stanton Street to the entrance.
Riverside Park: (10317 North Cedar Drive, Grand Haven) Travel north on 104thto North Cedar. Turn right on North Cedar to then entrance.
