Cool, crisp, colorful fall evenings are fast approaching, and there's nothing dreamier than the feeling of warm, soft cashmere on your skin.
Lara Ferrell, Visual Merchandise Manager and Buyer for Threads on 8th, notes that most people feel an article of cashmere clothing is out of their price range.
Now, however, there are fantastic options for every budget.
"We are excited here at Threads on 8th to be carrying beautiful pieces in a variety of colors and styles for the fall," Ferrell said.
Sweaters, vests and scarves, to name a few.
"Our favorite would be the topper." Ferrell said. "This versatile piece should be in every woman's wardrobe. Pair it with a skirt, pants or over a dress to add style to your outfit. Or add a 'pop' of color with your jeans for a playful, fun look."
Cashmere has been around for thousands of years. Sheered from the soft undercoat of cashmere goats, cashmere wool is finer, stronger, softer, lighter and three times more insulting than sheep wool.
"The quality makes your piece last longer," Ferrell said, "and the styles are usually timeless."
No need to break the bank for the purchase, however. No matter the budget, it's possible to cozy up in cashmere. Ferrell recommends gloves, hats and toppers for a tighter budget and sweaters, lounge pants and capes for a budget with more room.
"Cashmere is an investment to your wardrobe that will definitely be worth every penny," Ferrell said.
