This year, Eastern Floral is proud to celebrate 75 years of business in Grand Rapids!
As we reflect on our journey, we are filled with gratitude for the incredible West Michigan community that has supported us every step of the way. It's because of you that we've been able to grow, evolve and continue to thrive over the years.
Our story began in 1950 when Frank Devos came across a simple ad in his local newspaper:
"Business Opportunity. Floral shop for sale. Call realtor."
It was a brief message, easily overlooked, but Frank recognized it as something special. He saw the potential in that small floral business, and his vision set the foundation for what Eastern Floral would become. Nearly 75 years later, we are so glad that he was right!
In 2001, Bing Goei took ownership of Eastern Floral, alongside his daughter, Rachael VanderHeide. While ownership has shifted over the history of the company, our core mission has remained the same: to exceed our customers' expectations with high-quality flowers, innovative designs and exceptional service.
As we mark this milestone, we're excited to share that we have many celebrations planned throughout the year! From monthly design classes and community events to special promotions, we invite you to join us in the festivities.
