Following last year's debut, ShowSpan will again partner with the Home Builders Association of Greater Grand Rapids (HBAGGR) to present the Grand Rapids Remodeling & New Homes Show at DeVos Place, January 8 – 10, 2016.
"There was a clear need for this type of a focused show, one that is all about the home, and the response was terrific," said Showspan Senior Manager Carolyn Alt. "This show offers a tighter range of services for homeowners and will be really valuable to those looking to build, add-on to, remodel, or just refresh and update their homes."
Many homeowners are ready in January, after the holidays, to get started on projects—and they now have a chance to meet early with the area's best builders, when their schedules are more open and they can potentially get started right away.
"This opportunity to discuss projects and ideas face to face will help homeowners make better buying decisions on their biggest investment—their home," Alt said. "People are investing in their homes more now than ever, and we know the best way for homeoners and builders to connect is at a show."
For those in need of design inspiration, the show offers lots of help. HGTV regular Tylor Devereaux, a competitor on Design Star and HGTV Star, conducts seminars throughout the weekend, as does well-known interior designer Leslie Hart-Davidson. Patrons can also take a walk through the show's Idea Rooms, to see the latest color trends, design ideas and layout options.
Alt notes that ShowSpan and HBAGGR are ready to help area homeowners and builders make 2016 a fantastic year—and offers some advice: "It can be your best year ever," she said, "but the year starts in January. Get the most out of it!"
