As a Mexican immigrant, Edgar Garcia is committed to creating spaces and opportunities in the professional and entrepreneurial space for the Latino community of West Michigan. Since his first business in 2002, he’s navigated diverse industries, logistics, consulting, and media, learning from every setback and reinventing himself with greater strength. Every obstacle led him to find his true purpose: to make the Latino community visible, celebrate their achievements, and drive their growth.

As founder of Vive Michigan Magazine, Michigan's premier bilingual Latino magazine, Garcia has built a leading platform of information, inspiration, and unity. His vision brought to life one-of-a-kind events in the state: 25 Most Influential Latinos, Latino Entrepreneur Summit, the only event in Michigan held entirely in Spanish, LatinNEXT Summit, and the Latina Conference West Michigan. More than two decades later, Edgar continues planting seeds of opportunity so that other Latinos can reach their full potential.
