Downtown Muskegon will be host to cornhole, snow volleyball, Battle of the Bowls Chili and Soup Cook-Off and more.
JCI Greater Muskegon has once again announced the return of its highly anticipated 38th Annual Snowfest, taking place in Downtown Muskegon on Saturday, February 3, 2024. This signature winter event promises a day of exciting activities and competitions for the whole family.
Building on the success of previous years, Snowfest 2024 will feature the much-loved Battle of the Bowls Chili and Soup Cook-Off, cornhole tournament and snow volleyball, along with exciting new additions.
This year's festivities include a brand-new disc golf putting tournament, axe throwing, euchre tournament and pre-party, and trivia-themed after-party. Also featured this year is a Bloody Mary contest showcasing the talents of local downtown bars and restaurants in the Downtown Muskegon Social District, adding an extra layer of excitement to Muskegon's largest winter festival.
Snowfest 2024 kicks off at 9 a.m., with activities both inside and outside of the Trinity Health Arena on Western Avenue. The popular cornhole and snow volleyball tournaments will take place on Western Avenue between 3rd and 5th streets. Don't miss the Battle of the Bowls Soup and Chili Cook-Off from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. inside Trinity Health Arena, where attendees can sample creations from new and staple Muskegon area restaurants. Tickets purchased in advance are $15 each, and tickets purchased at the door are $20 each. All ticket holders will be able to cast their votes for their favorite dishes.
"Snowfest is more than just an event; it's a celebration of community spirit and the joy that winter brings," said DeMarcus Evans, President of JCI Greater Muskegon. "We are excited to bring back this beloved tradition and create memorable experiences for individuals and families in Muskegon."
