West Michigan Woman is pleased to announce the 30 finalists for the 2018 Brilliance Awards.
On April 26, 2018, West Michigan Woman will again shine a spotlight on the dynamic talent, spirit and intellect of local leaders in the second annual Brilliance Awards.
Focusing on nominees who excel in their fields, elevate other women and are committed to creating positive change, the Brilliance Awards recognize men and women who tackle the issues facing professional women and who blaze trails for the rest of us.
Yet there's something particularly dazzling about the Brilliance Awards.
"We get to honor women and men at all phases of their career, for different assets critical in success today," said Kasie Smith, president and publisher of West Michigan Woman. "It's not just recognizing leaders at the pinnacle of their career. While that's important, we must also acknowledge and celebrate the successes throughout the journey."
Honoring the success of women and men across 10 categories, the Brilliance Awards recognize the success of CEOs and business owners, but also the emerging leaders. The team players. The mentors, connectors and social change agents.
Three finalists for each of the 10 categories were selected from 187 nominations. Each finalist demonstrates dedication and commitment to his or her career and community through mentorship, support, service, innovation and more.
The final honorees will be determined by a selection committee of local community leaders and announced at the event on April 26. The event will be held in the Ambassador Ballroom at the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Individual tickets are $95 and table sponsorships are available.
