The Grand Rapids Downtown Market will be glistening on Tuesday, December 5, for the annual Winter Wonderland Open House. Adults and children alike can get into the spirit of the season with fun activities, food, beverage and exclusive specials for holiday shopping!
Santa will be available for visitors in the greenhouse from 4 – 8 p.m., and there will be plenty of stations for writing and mailing letters to him. There are also a number of hands-on activities for the kids, such as "Christmas" cones treat making.
Festive holiday food and beverage demonstrations will be presented in the Teaching Kitchen, and a holiday cocktail bar will serve beer, wine and specialty drinks made with Downtown Market ingredients.
A holiday artisan market will feature more than 25 local entrepreneurs and artisans, and Market Hall Merchants will remain open an extra hour—until 8 p.m.—with special offers to help you tackle your gift list.
Yet that's not all!
Holland Dickens Carolers will stroll the market for performances, and there will be an opportunity to donate clothing to benefit Dégagé Ministries.
