Ladies, mark your calendars! Downtown Holland's Girlfriends Weekend is Friday, March 3 – Sunday, March 5, 2017. Celebrate your friendships while shopping, wining and dining in Downtown Holland's unique boutiques, restaurants and pubs. The $50 per person registration for the three-day event includes a swag bag stuffed with goodies and a coupon book full of savings.
The weekend kicks off Friday afternoon with a cocktail party in Big E's Sports Grill in Courtyard Marriott. Enjoy light appetizers and a complimentary cocktail while meeting up with friends. That evening, enjoy wine tasting in the cellar at Butch's Dry Dock. For $20, sample over 15 different wines, meet wine experts and enjoy an appetizer spread.
Begin Saturday morning with a delicious breakfast and fashion show at the Haworth Inn and Conference Center, organized by the fashionistas of Studio K Clothing Company. The show will feature the latest spring collections of clothes, shoes, jewelry and other accessories only available in Downtown Holland's boutiques. Tickets are just $15 each with registration.
Spend the day shopping and indulging in manicures, pedicures, massages and more. Several stores will offer activities, including mini makeovers, artist meet and greets, food sampling sessions and more. Cooking demonstrations, high tea and other classes will also be available for a small additional fee.
Saturday night, Girlfriends Weekend is hosting a totally rad '80s Prom Party at the Holland Armory. Dance all night long while a DJ spins everyone's favorite '80s hits. Tickets to the Prom Party are $20 and include two complimentary drink tickets, photo booth opportunities and fun party favors.
The weekend concludes on Sunday with a brunch buffet at Alpenrose Restaurant. Dine on a wide variety of breakfast and lunch entrees, soups, salads, desserts and more.
