Baxter Community Center, the charity partner for West Michigan Woman's 2014 Wine & Wig gala event, has been recognized by the Better Business Bureau serving Western Michigan as a finalist for the BBB Torch Awards for Ethics. This award celebrates the commitment made by for-profit and nonprofit organizations to high standards of character and ethical enterprising.
Baxter Community Center, located at 935 Baxter Street SE in Grand Rapids, responds to the needs of its surrounding community through its four pillars: youth mentorship, food pantry and clothing marketplace, dental and medical care, and a nationally accredited childcare program. Offering a range of services, classes, and support systems, the Baxter Community Center addresses its neighbors' needs for today, and hopes for tomorrow.
Come join us October 18 at the GRAM for a whimsical evening of food, wine, and, of course, wigs! To purchase tickets or learn more about the good works of the Baxter Community Center, click here.
