An engineering firm. A brewery. Restaurants. Design firms. A housing development company ... A diverse range of West Michigan businesses are already taking strides to make positive social and environmental impact in the community through Good for Grand Rapids, an initiative that brings together and celebrates companies using business as a force for good.
Local First—West Michigan's leading resource for companies looking to make a constructive impact in their community—recently launched Good for Grand Rapids to inspire, equip and celebrate companies that have demonstrated a commitment to helpful environmental and social change in Grand Rapids and beyond by creating high-quality jobs, stronger communities and a healthier Great Lakes region.
Throughout the year, the initiative will offer opportunities and resources, including educational workshops and networking events, for businesses that want to learn and do more.
Any company is welcome to participate.
And you could start today.
Take the Quick Impact Assessment, an evaluation that measures dozens of best practices on employee, community and environmental impact for a snapshot of the positive influence your business offers your community. The assessment is free and takes only 60 minutes to complete.
