The Michigan Women's Foundation, Davenport University and Grand Rapids Opportunities for Women (GROW) have created a conference for female entrepreneurs. Entrepreneur YOU will be held Friday, March 4, at Davenport University's Sneden Center from 8 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. Come spend your day with other successful West Michigan businesswomen and unleash your entrepreneurial talent!
A wide range of entrepreneurial topics will be addressed at the Entrepreneur YOU Conference Grand Rapids. Keynote speakers, Marianne O'Brien Markowitz, U.S. Small Business Administration Regional Administrator, and Dawn Marchand, President of Helenistic, will share their entrepreneurial insight.
The conference's 17 breakout sessions will cover the challenges and opportunities women encounter as they start and grow businesses. Among the workshops are Accounting 101, Building an Effective Marketing Plan, Fighting Fraud, Facts About Franchising, Protecting Intellectual Property, Show Me the Money ... Funding Small Business, and the Top 10 Things to Know BEFORE Starting Your Business.
This conference is part of the statewide continuum of services the Michigan Women's Foundation's offers to female entrepreneurs.
