Relaxation and rejuvenation are being taken to a whole new level (literally) at JW Marriott Grand Rapids, thanks to their new spa and Wellness Floor. Seraphina, which opens June 23, will offer natural, thoughtful and holistic care in a beautifully modern setting.
The new spa experience is central to the hotel's third floor transformation into a dedicated Wellness Floor and will feature a luxurious aesthetic with a soft color palette and verdant greenery.
"Seraphina will be a calming respite from the stresses of everyday for guests and Grand Rapids area locals," said Caitlin McClelland, spa director at the JW Marriott Grand Rapids and Amway Grand Plaza Hotel. "With new treatments, updated amenities and the hotel's brand-new Wellness Floor, spa-goers will leave feeling refreshed and restored in mind, body and soul."
Designed by renowned design firm Gensler, the revamped Wellness Floor will also include an indoor pool and fitness center, plus new relaxation pods and a steam room.
Those visiting will find offerings of signature treatments that harmonize guests' overall wellbeing, including body treatments, facials, massages, bridal services, hair removal, nail services and eyelash extensions. Restorative body treatments include the mineral rich Seaweed Wrap with herbal extracts to remove toxins from the skin, and the Exfoliating Salt Scrub to improve skin texture. Other natural treatments include warm bamboo massages, cupping, reflexology and extensive customized facial treatments. Seraphina will use Green Envee products, which are also available for purchase in the spa's retail space. The spa can accommodate larger parties, including weddings and corporate groups.
"Wellness is a central pillar of the JW Marriott brand," said Norina Cadili, general manager of the JW Marriott Grand Rapids. "As people focus on physical and mental wellness more than ever, the JW Marriott Grand Rapids' new Wellness Floor provides a thoughtfully-curated experience that allows guests to breathe deeply and exhale slowly from the moment they enter."
