1. Be sure to keep moisture within your home. As the cooler months set in, your immediate reaction is to turn up that thermostat. We recommend running a humidifier to help prevent dryness.
2. Be mindful of the temperature of water during showers and baths. While there's nothing better than slipping into a hot bath after a cold day, if you do not immediately moisturize, small cracks in the skin can expose nerves to the air. This can result in skin damage, causing discomfort and redness.
3. This the time to adjust your skincare routine and swap out lighter-weight moisturizers for thicker, fragrance-free moisturizers containing ceramides and hyaluronic acid.
