Muskegon’s got new wheels: CityHub Cyclery

Engage with the West Michigan Woman Community!

Located in the historic 585 W. Clay Avenue building and the former M.F. Carlson’s Food Market, CityHub Cyclery caters to beginning bikers and serious cyclists alike, carrying top-name brands previously unavailable in West Michigan. It offers a selection of Felt, Yuba, Kona, and Detroit Bikes, and stocks a selection of urban gear and clothing from Shredly, Après Vélo, Twin Six, NutCase, and Zoic. CityHub is committed to offering a great selection of bikes and gear specially designed for women.

Along with bicycles and gear, CityHub provides rentals and complete bike maintenance. Conveniently located near the Muskegon Shoreline Trail, it’s the perfect departure point for cruising around downtown or along the lakeshore. CityHub’s expert service department offers tune-ups, overhauls, installations, wheels, tubes, and adjustments.

Owners Julia Miller and Jennifer Wever bring expertise to their new enterprise. Julia has been active in cycling for more than twenty-five years as a competitive racer, triathlete, trainer, and organizer of riding groups formed to encourage female participation in riding. With a combined ten years’ experience in bicycle sales and management, she’s been trained for Professional Bike Repair and Shop Management by the United Bicycle Institute. Jennifer, an engineer with a strong business background, is a lifelong leisure cyclist.

With a lounge area, complimentary coffee, and free Wi-Fi, CityHub is a comfortable place to shop or wait for repairs. It encourages individuals and biking groups to stop in before or after rides—for supplies or as a gathering spot. CityHub Cyclery is open Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Visit cityhubcyclery.com for more information.
