After what seems like a million snow days, perhaps you’re in need of a getaway! Grand Haven Girls Getaway Weekend is March 14-16, and it’s the perfect pick-me-up to get you through until spring. With a wide range of activities, Girlfriends Weekend is a good match for a get-together with women of all ages and interests—from family, to colleagues, to friends you haven’t seen in a while.
Purchased in advance, a $20 pass will provide entry into the Friday night welcoming event at Porto Bello, from 7 to 9 p.m., and to various other events. It also provides access to a “swag bag” with more than $100 worth of coupons and deals from local businesses.
Saturday’s events include a morning fashion show featuring local businesses, with light appetizers and door prizes, at Porto Bello, and comedy night with Adam Degi at Dee-Light Bar & Grill. Karaoke and wine tasting events will also be added to the itinerary.
The Grand Haven area features a variety of restaurants from gourmet to casual, art galleries, boutiques, gourmet food shops, microbreweries, a winery, and several salon/spas offering pedicures and massages.
