Experience Grand Rapids, the official destination marketing organization for Kent County, announced the nomination of Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park in the VirtualTourist.com’s search to find the “8th Wonder of the World.” Public voting is open until September 30 at VirtualTourist.com, a leading travel research website and community that is part of TripAdvisor Media Group.

The public is asked to vote once a day for their favorite landmark out of the more than two hundred submissions until September 30. The wonder with the most votes will be crowned the winner. The winner will be featured in a national broadcast on top American syndicated television show Extra as well as receive a massive media relations campaign push from VirtualTourist.
