Challenge of Children Conference

Engage with the West Michigan Woman Community!

Challenge of Children is a free one-day conference for parents and caregivers held each year in May. The conference is dedicated to informing, educating, motivating, and offering support and networking on child development, child guidance, and other issues related to parenting.

This year's event takes place Thursday, May 16, at Hope College in Holland, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Click here to download the registration form and more information about the conference. The registration deadline is May 9. Click here to download the registration flyer.

The first Challenge of Children Conference was held in 1982. The conference continues to draw more than a thousand parents and caregivers annually from West Michigan and throughout the state. May 16, 2013, is the thirty-first anniversary of the Challenge of Children Conference. What is more important is that more than thirty thousand parents and caregivers have bettered themselves for the children whose lives they touch.
