With a new year comes new goals, fresh ideas and exciting opportunities to take it all to a whole other level. That's the exact approach the team at West Michigan Woman is taking in 2024, with a variety of brand-new ways to engage with our vibrant community of fierce, empowered and professional women.
First up are a variety of new Special Sections in the magazine, mailed directly to subscribers every other month. Beginning in February, we'll see the introduction of the "Self-Care" Special Section, full of tips for prioritizing your own personal happiness, whatever that looks like for you. From there, we'll usher in the "Entrepreneurship" Special Section, diving into all things small business. The year continues with Special Sections on "Alternative Wellness," "Aging Well," "Women's Health" and the yearly return of our Readers' Choice Awards.
That's a lot of great content!
Women excelling in their careers has been at the root of West Michigan Woman since the very beginning of the publication's inception over 10 years ago. Now, we're taking that appreciation to new heights with the introduction of Expertorials (featured in each issue) and the Business Leaders Issue, running in April/May. Both of these new initiatives shine a light on—and perhaps introduce for the first time to our readers—businesses and women in West Michigan who are the top names in their field.
Last but certainly not least, we're thrilled to introduce a new event in 2024: The Brilliance Summit! A sister event to the annual West Michigan Woman Brilliance Awards, the Brilliance Summit provides a platform for Brilliance Awards finalists and top honorees to impart their wisdom, insight and lessons learned in their development as leaders. Offering opportunities for personal and professional networking, the Brilliance Summit invites guests to connect with those recognized and learn the stories that have led to their successes.
