You're invited to a group tasting on Thursday, April 12, from 6 to 9 pm. at the Cascade Winery. Together with several other West Michigan wineries, Cascade Winery will host Spring Vintage Unveiling, an opportunity to sample wines from all over the West Michigan area in one convenient location at the Pinnacle Center in Hudsonville–3300 Highland Drive, Hudsonville.
Tickets are $15 each, and entitle guests to five samples of wine. Additional samples can be purchased at the event. There will also be fruit and cheese platters. You can purchase tickets at Cascade Winery or other participating wineries, but remember to purchase them early! The number of guests will be limited to 250.
Spring Vintage Unveiling is a perfect way to celebrate April's official status as Michigan Wine Month by "drinking local," appreciating the wide variety of wonderful wines made right here in West Michigan. Continuing the local focus, proceeds from the event will benefit a local charitable organization, Healing With Hope and Happiness, started by Jenison couple Leah and Tony Neifert after their daughter Libby was diagnosed with brain cancer just before her first Christmas. The organization's focus is bringing laughter and fun to the lives of pediatric patients in long-term care.
