Kids Just Wanna Have Fun: New Year’s Early Eve Party

Engage with the West Michigan Woman Community!

Let the countdown begin! The New Year's Early Eve party hosted by the Grand Rapids Children's Museum (GRCM) on December 31, from 6 to 8 p.m., is back to ring in another new year.

In a world where few options exist for kids to celebrate the new year, New Year's Early Eve is the perfect celebration for the whole family.

In addition to exploring museum exhibits, kids will have the opportunity to make a noisemaker, create a resolution wand, dive into delicious kid-friendly hors d'oeurves provided by FOODesign and enjoy refreshments at the Fizzy Juice Bar ... all leading up to the famous countdown and balloon drop presented by Celebration! Cinema at 7:30 p.m.

"GRCM has been doing New Year's Early Eve since first opening, and we've become part of family traditions, which is very special for us," said Adrienne Brown-Reasner, Director of Communications and Events.

"The event started simply because we wanted a New Year's Eve event that kids could be part of, and now it's grown into something that families look forward to and coordinate their holidays plans around."

Tickets are $12 per person ages 1 year and up—$10 for GRCM Pals Members—and available online at www.grcm.org, by calling 616.235.4726 or by visiting GRCM's front desk.

PRO TIP: The event sells out each year, so get them quickly!
