The Grand Rapids International Wine, Beer & Food Festival honors its 10th anniversary with a mouth-watering celebration, November 16 – 18, 2017, at DeVos Place in downtown Grand Rapids.
Drawing more than 18,000 people over three days, this one-of-a-kind event is the largest culinary festival in the Midwest, with more than 120,000 square feet of tasting experiences and more than 1,800 beverages for sampling!
This award-winning festival even offers the chance to taste elite wines such as Dom Perignon and Opus 1 in the Elite Collection, along with other global, regional and local wines in The Vineyard. Step off in the Beer City Station and Cider Row for an array of craft beverages and special tappings throughout the weekend.
The new Hemingway Hall showcases local spirits and cocktails, as well as hands-on workshops from noted bartenders and mixologists—including Philip Greene, who helped found the Museum of the American Cocktail in New Orleans.
Fifteen of the area's top restaurants serve up everything from nibbles and small plates, while a record number of nine restaurants are offering up intimate multicourse pairing dinners. If you leave hungry, you're just not trying hard enough!
Learn tricks of the trade from industry experts during one of the many informational seminars, cooking demos and workshops—all included with festival admission.
Regarded as the premier event of its kind in the Great Lakes region, this is the place to be for family, friends and colleagues looking for an unparalleled night on the town, or a Saturday afternoon of sampling, all under one roof.
Remember that all tasting of food and beverages is done with tasting tickets purchased at the event in 50-cent denominations. This system incentivizes the breweries and wineries to bring their best products and keeps the price of admission down.
