The Muskegon Home, Garden + DIY Show is back, and the 2016 version includes impressive changes! The event will be held at Fricano's Event Center on March 25 and 26, and will feature more than 40 local businesses exhibiting their best home and garden information. Attendees will find an expanded yard and garden section, educational and DIY sections, and celebrity guests.
One exciting addition to this show is national speaker J Schwanke. Schwanke is a flower expert, flower content producer and professional speaker, known throughout the flower industry and beyond. He will be presenting "Fun with Flowers and J," six unique seminars during the two-day event. Carla Sanders, show director, says "Adding a national speaker to this event really helps bring the caliber of the show to the next level."
At the show's DIY sessions, attendees will learn how to create a fresh spring centerpiece with the help of Wasserman Flowers and Gifts, Muskegon Fit4mom will hold a Stroller Strides class and Keene Lumber will teach an instructional deck installation session. Educational seminars presented by certified arborist Rich Coby include sessions on landscape design, pruning tactics and lawn care. First General Credit Union will discuss first-time home buying, Coldwell Banker will suggest tips for selling your home and HWC Home Works will cover tub and shower conversions.
