Do you like to shop, sip wine, eat good food and relax with your girlfriends? If you've answered yes to even one of these questions, Downtown Holland's Girlfriends Weekend is for you! Friday, March 4 through Sunday, March 6, Holland's merchants and restaurateurs welcome you to enjoy their cozy city.
Girlfriends Weekend kicks off with a Friday afternoon cocktail party at the new Courtyard Marriott. Can't leave work or the kids that early? Don't worry: The party continues until 5 p.m.! After the cocktail party, you and your friends could shop the night away. Participating merchants will stay open until 8 p.m.
Saturday, March 5, starts as any day should, with good food and fashion. A high-energy fashion show organized by Studio K Clothing Company will feature a unique selection of clothes, shoes, jewelry and other accessories exclusive to downtown Holland boutiques. Pre-registration is required for this $15 event.
After the fashion show, explore all this charming town has to offer. Select stores may feature mini makeovers, trunk shows, skin consultations, chocolate sampling and more.
As the sun sets, put on your pajamas and head to Holland's Park Theater for a pajama party complete with a DJ, dancing, cash bar, free photo booth and party favors. Pre-registration is required for this $15 event.
The weekend concludes on Sunday, March 6, with a brunch buffet at Alpenrose Restaurant.
