The Keep Grand Rapids Warm team wants no one in Grand Rapids to go without a warm coat this winter. While the organization realizes it cannot solve all of the world's problems, its goal is simple: to provide warm coats to those in need. Working with the Guiding Light Mission, Keep Grand Rapids Warm will ensure that coats reach their intended recipients.
To contribute to this worthy cause, please stop by Guiding Light in person and drop off your coats. Alternatively, you could make an online donation toward the cost of one coat or the purchase of a pair of mittens or socks.

When asked what a warm coat means to her, one local woman responded, "A warm coat isn't just an article of clothing. It's a symbol. It's security, warmth, and I'd even call it belonging. To me, that means survival."
