What makes some people more successful in work and life than others? Our social intelligence—the way we manage ourselves and negotiate complex social relationships and environments—can play a critical role in determining our success and happiness. However, social intelligence is a set of skills that can be taught and enhanced when purposefully pursued.
Grand Rapids Area Professionals for Excellence (GRAPE) is sponsoring a workshop by Tamara Rosier, Ph.D., "Social Intelligence: What It Is and Why It Matters," on October 23 from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at ITT Technical Institute.
Rosier, of Acorn Leadership Consulting, specializes in coaching adults and adolescents with ADHD, and working with individuals and organizations to develop social intelligence refinement, team effectiveness, leadership development, and conflict management.
