GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., January 16, 2023 – West Michigan Woman is now seeking nominations from the community for its seventh annual Brilliance Awards.
The Brilliance Awards recognize the dynamic talent, spirit and intellect of those who tackle issues facing professional women. Focusing on nominees who are committed to creating positive change and excel in their fields, the Brilliance Awards shine a light on women and men within the West Michigan community who truly elevate others and blaze trails of inspiration.
The successes of local women and men are honored across 10 categories: Mentorship, Connector, Social Change Agent, Team Player, Tenacity, Champion of Service, Entrepreneur, Emerging Leader, Best Supporting Man, and Woman of the Year.
In 2022, three finalists for each category—the most prestigious being Woman of the Year—were selected from a record-breaking 400+ nominations. Going forward and as in previous years, all 2023 nominations will be carefully considered, and finalists will be determined based on outstanding qualities of leadership, mentorship, service, innovation and tenacity.

Top honorees will be determined by a selection committee of local community leaders and announced at the Brilliance Awards on May 17, 2023 in the Ambassador Ballroom at the Amway Grand Plaza. The in-person event will offer a unique format allowing for ample celebration, networking and a three-course meal.
