Andy Johnston
When Andy Johnston’s father was diagnosed with cancer, the American Cancer Society became a trusted resource throughout his treatment. After he lost his father to cancer, Andy was inspired by ACS’s engagement in research, community building and ACS-CAN.
Andy, who works with the Chamber of Commerce, said losing a parent to cancer profoundly impacts one’s life.
“It creates a deep sense of loss,” he said. “You miss an important person to share life’s struggles, successes, and milestones with. It reshapes your life and has motivated me to volunteer with ACS.”
Beyond volunteering for ACS, Andy is married to a radiant goddess, is father to three great Americans-in-training and is a golfer living with a hairless cat.
