Behavioral Health Grants Project Director, Hope Network | Adjunct Professor, GVSU



Kasie Pickart is a passionate mental health advocate with over 10 years of experience in project management, focusing on improving behavioral health services and clinical outcomes. She has dedicated her efforts to expanding access to mental health resources, training thousands in suicide prevention, and securing substantial funding to enhance services across Michigan. Kasie is an active board member of organizations advocating for systemic change in mental health care. She is also committed to lifelong learning, recently earning her Project Management Professional certification.

As a strong supporter of women’s empowerment in West Michigan, she regularly collaborates with local organizations to uplift and inspire women. Outside of her professional life, Kasie is a foodie, enjoys painting, reading captivating books, and cherishes time with family and friends.

She says, “As an emerging leader, I’ve realized that it's important for women to confidently claim their space and assert their value in situations where their voices are often overlooked. At the same time, great leadership involves recognizing the power of listening—especially to understand the unique challenges others face.”
