Boys & Girls Clubs of Grand Rapids Youth Commonwealth exists to enable all young people to reach their full potential as responsible citizens through education, recreation, and other positive community experiences in partnership with the Grand Rapids Police Department. The Boys & Girls Clubs operate three clubs in Grand Rapids where daily enriching after-school programming is offered with a hot meal for every kid each day as well as operating Camp O'Malley, a residential summer camp located just 25 minutes southeast of Grand Rapids. The organization serves over 2,500 youth a year who are mostly at-risk youth of Grand Rapids and the West Michigan area. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Grand Rapids Youth Commonwealth is locally based and does not operate nationally so all funds stay local.
