Addison Ouellette

Addison Ouellette grew up attending the American Cancer Society Relay for Life since she was five years old.

“I remember drawing on Luminaria bags with my grandma’s name on it when I was little and I still make one in memory of her every year,” she said. “I continued to attend yearly and eventually became a part of the committee and have served as the co-chair for the Rockford Relay for Life for the past three years.”

Addison, who is a Physical Therapist Assistant with Corewell Health, lost both grandmothers to cancer and has witnessed other family members in their cancer battles; some have won and some continue to fight.

She hopes one day to live in a cancer-free world.

When not engaged with the American Cancer Society, Addison enjoys hiking and spending time with friends and family, as well as trying new restaurants around Grand Rapids, where she lives.
