Newcomb Pottery is considered one of the most significant collections of American art pottery of the 20th century. Each piece is critically acclaimed and highly coveted.

Gilda's LaughFest, the nation's first-ever communitywide festival of laughter, will be held in 2016 from March 10 – 20. The event will include Seth Meyers, performing during Gilda's Club Grand Rapids Signature Event, and Kathy Griffin, Marlon Wayans, a diverse range of artists that are new to the festival and some returning past favorites.

Just in: some bright news for those suffering from sunlight deprivation and the winter blahs. With hundreds of exhibits, the 28th West Michigan Golf Show is returning to DeVos Place in downtown Grand Rapids on February 12-14. Here's a sampling of what makes it the season's "must attend" happening for golfers and wannabes alike:

Guests attending the Grand Rapids Art Museum's annual member meeting were in for a surprise ending: At the conclusion of the formal business meeting, guests were escorted to the first-floor Secchia Lobby area to witness the unveiling of an iconic print from one of America's most noted artists. The print is a recent donation to the GRAM from an anonymous benefactor.
