It's National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and many of us are planning to show our support of the cause in our own way.
Some will participate in walks or runs, bring a meal to friend fighting the disease, contact government representatives to lobby for breast cancer research funding, and so on. Many from the West Michigan Woman community are planning to show their support by attending the 2015 Wine & Wig Gala on October 10, at Bridgewater Place in Grand Rapids.
For those who are looking for a way to support three of the leading breast cancer research, education, and support organizations with just one donation, WMW has created the "10 Days of Giving Campaign."
From October 1 through 10, WMW will be raising money from our community of readers and followers. One hundred percent of funds raised will benefit the Wine & Wig Gala charity partners: American Cancer Society, Susan G. Komen Michigan, and Gilda's Club Grand Rapids.
