Festive, Easy Cocktails to Celebrate the Holidays

Engage with the West Michigan Woman Community!

Whether you are lounging in front of the Christmas tree for a low-key Christmas Eve or celebrating with friends and family, try these simple, but delicious Champagne cocktail recipes to add a little cheer to your night.

POMEGRANATE BELLINI
Spoon one ounce of pomegranate juice into a Champagne flute, and fill with chilled sparkling rośe. Garnish with fresh pomegranate seeds.

Befuddled by removing pomegranate seeds? Try these tricks: Roll the pomegranate on the counter or table to loosen the seeds. Score around the middle, then tear in half with your hands. Hold each half over a bowl, seeds facing down, and tap the skin with a wooden spoon, squeezing gently to release the seeds.

MANGO MIMOSA
Swap in mango juice for the traditional orange, and garnish with a slice of lime.

RASPBERRY FIZZ
Scoop raspberry sorbet into the Champagne flute and top with chilled sparkling wine.

PRETTY PRESENTATION
Try these festive garnishes with a simple flute of bubbly: fresh blackberries, a rosemary sprig, or slice of pear dropped into the flute before pouring; fresh cranberries on a skewer; sliced star fruit on the rim.

Cheers!
