GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., December 11, 2019 – West Michigan Woman is now seeking nominations from the community for its fourth annual Brilliance Awards.
Focusing on nominees who excel in their fields, elevate other women and are committed to creating positive change, the Brilliance Awards recognize those who tackle the issues facing professional women and who blaze trails for the rest of us.
Honoring the success of women and men across 10 categories, the Brilliance Awards recognize the success of CEOs and business owners, but also the emerging leaders, team players, mentors, connectors and social change agents.
Last year, three finalists for each of the 10 categories were selected from 300 nominations. Finalists will be selected based on their ability to demonstrate leadership qualities such as mentorship, service, innovation, tenacity and more.
"This is among the most authentic awards events in our community," said Kasie Smith, West Michigan Woman publisher. "We hear time and time again that the women and men we honor represent a diverse cross-section of leaders and doers—many of them flying under the radar of other awards events. We take pride in bringing their stories to our audience."
The final honorees will be determined by a selection committee of local community leaders and announced at the Awards event on April 30. The event includes a unique format unlike any other in town that allows for ample celebration and networking. It will be held in the Ambassador Ballroom at the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Individual tickets are $95 and table sponsorships are available.
Nominations can be made online until January 15 at https://westmichiganwoman.com/nominate-brilliance-awards.
