Wondering where to go when you want to take it outside for a bit? Consider these local favorites!

Bostwick Lake Inn | Rockford
Established in 1910, Bostwick Lake Inn has the feel of that old summer place on the banks of the lake. Windows provide wonderful views of the water and wrap around the side, overlooking a deck with a bar, seating, and live music in season. Inside is a cozy, casual feeling of friendship and neighborhood gathering for food, fun, and fellowship. The casual, eclectic, creative menu focuses on traditional and "new" American favorites.

The Butler | Saugatuck
When it comes to outdoor eating and drinking, friends and fans are convinced that nobody does it better than The Butler Deck! Excellent food is accompanied by "the best drinks in town" and live music, all with great views of Saugatuck's harbor and the Kalamazoo River. Don't miss out on this Saugatuck summertime tradition: Get Decked!

The Curragh Irish Pub | Holland
Welcome to Holland's largest outdoor patio on 8th Street. "If you are looking to sit in a relaxed atmosphere and watch the bustle of downtown pass by, you have come to the right place." Friendly, inviting staff offers corned beef and cabbage, and the best pint of Guinness on the lakeshore. Sitting on the patio, you're steps away from shopping and a wonderful farmers market. Kick back, relax, and let The Curragh give you a warm Irish welcome.

The Green Well | Grand Rapids
The Green Well's patio sits adjacent to a beautiful garden shared by the historical, accurately renovated Blodgett Children's Hospital, now home to the ICCF. It's an ideal space for enjoying time with family and friends while taking advantage of amazing spring, summer, and fall days. Seasonal events such as Art in the Garden and Cherry Street Garden Summer Music Series add a few more reasons to come sit back, relax, and enjoy the patio!

HopCat | Grand Rapids
The inside scoop on the outside: "I love that it's got a lot of room for a patio, I mean it's pretty big. I love that we open it at the beginning of May, with the roast of a pig. I love that it's pet friendly, and by that I mean dogs. I love that it's well-kept, so it's good for flip-flops or clogs. I love that it's downtown, and by that I mean near. I love that it's the patio for one of the best places in the world to get beer. I love that it's comfy, come rain or shine. I love that it's HopCat, so you know it's a good place to dine."

Old Boys' Brewhouse | Spring Lake
Summertime is the right time to enjoy fresh local fun at family-friendly Old Boys' Brewhouse. Its waterfront deck is open and ready for spending some time enjoying the sun, along with a fine handcrafted brew or soda and a meal. Located where scenic Spring Lake meets the Grand River, Old Boys' deck offers a beautiful water view, a full menu, a full bar, and weekly live entertainment.

Saugatuck Brewing | Saugatuck
The patio at Saugatuck Brewing seats up to sixty, and plays host to live music Thursday evenings from 6 to 9, during June, July, and August. A hop garden has grown from being a hop trellis at the end of the patio to a hop canopy over its far end. The landscaping has been enhanced outside of the patio upon which you'll find great food, beer, and service.
