Something New is Brewing

Engage with the West Michigan Woman Community!

Grand Rapids is about to get hoppin' with beer dinners, tap takeovers and other events for Beer Month GR: Savor the Craft, a monthlong celebration of Grand Rapids' 60-plus craft breweries.

From February 15 – March 15, more than 50 area restaurants and breweries will participate in Cool Brews. Hot Eats., a collaborative event blending craft beer and fantastic food. Local chefs and brewmasters will offer beer-infused dishes and meals with complementary beer pairings.

Beer Month GR also includes the 2017 Winter Beer Festival, February 24 and 25. The event features more than 100 Michigan breweries and approximately 1,000 different craft beers, paired with fine music from local bands, fun entertainment and a selection of tasty food. Saturday is sold out, but tickets for Friday are still available and can be purchased at www.mibeer.com.

And this is legendary: On March 7 – 12, Founders will host the third annual KBS Week in celebration of the Kentucky Breakfast Stout, a brew aged in bourbon barrels for a year in caves beneath Grand Rapids and frequently included on lists of the world's best brews.

To guide you in conquering all Beer Month GR has to offer, Experience Grand Rapids offers the Beer City Brewsader Passport, featuring exclusive deals to Ultimate Brewsaders throughout the month.
