Join Grand Rapids Area Professionals for Excellence on Thursday, March 19, from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. for presentations from Jeshua Lauka and Jennifer Puplava regarding the law as it relates to social entrepreneurship and cyberspace.

Jeshua Lauka: "Social Entrepreneurship from a Legal Perspective"

Jeshua Lauka is an attorney at a boutique business law firm located in downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan. He practices business, real estate, estate and trust work, and related litigation. His firm's clients are small to mid-size privately held companies and families with estate planning and real estate service needs. He was selected to the 2013-2014 Michigan Rising Stars list. Each year, no more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in the state are selected by the research team at Super Lawyers to receive this honor.

Jennifer Puplava: "Navigating Legal Issues in Cyberspace"

Jennifer Puplava assists clients with intellectual property and technology law issues. In addition, she counsels clients regarding the acquisition, use, protection, and enforcement of trademarks and copyrights. And she helps clients protect their trade secrets. Jennifer also advises clients regarding domain names, cybersquatting, data privacy, licensing, use policies, development, and other cyber law issues.
