GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., August 22, 2018—“There are no two ways about it: The wig is truly back in fashion,” declared Vogue’s Beauty Editor in the April 2018 issue. But at Wine & Wig, the premier party of Breast Cancer Awareness Month in West Michigan, wigs have always been in style.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., October 20, 2017—Wine & Wig 2017 raised a record $46,200 to support four local breast cancer charities during the 5th annual event. Each charity— Komen Michigan, the American Cancer Society, Gilda’s Club Grand Rapids and the Van Andel Institute—received $11,550 each to support their efforts to fight breast cancer.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., June 29, 2016—The Van Andel Institute joins the American Cancer Society, Susan G. Komen Michigan, and Gilda’s Club Grand Rapids as a charity partner in West Michigan Woman’s “Wine & Wig” – the premier party in West Michigan of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Wine & Wig exists to find a cure for breast cancer while also educating the community about the availability of local breast cancer resources.
