St. Cecilia Music Center, known as one of the greatest halls for chamber music in the world, proudly presents four world-class stars from the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center on January 26, 2017.
As part of the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center Series 2016-17 season, pianist Alessio Bax, cellist Paul Watkins, and violinists Ani Kavafian and Yura Lee will perform works by Brahams and Fauré.
In addition to a performance, the evening includes a pre-concert wine and hors d'oeurves reception from 6 – 7 p.m. in the second-floor, newly-renovated Ballroom, for $15; a pre-concert artist talk with the musicians in a question-and-answer session moderated by Grand Rapids Symphony President Peter Kjome in Royce Auditorium from 7 – 7:30 p.m.; and a complimentary post-concert wine, coffee and dessert reception, where the audience could meet the artists and obtain signed CDs of their releases.
